Located in the middle of the Pacific Ocean and home to a culture whose origins are still unknown, Easter Island is a place of magnetism and mystery. An agreeable climate year-round allows travelers to walk along its coastline and visit the numerous “ahus” that contain the gigantic “moai” sculptures. It is an unsolved mystery who made these sculptures and when, but it is presumed that the island was inhabited from the beginning of the first centuries of our time, and that the moais are hundreds of years old. It is also known that numerous tribes lived on the island during a time when they fought amongst themselves, destroying the territory. It is not known why they destroyed the majority of the moai. Today visitors can share the island with the descendents of this ancient culture, who preserve their ancestral customs in the face of the advancement of civilization.

DAY 01:
Reception in the Mataveri airport, and according to the polinésica custom, greeting with flowers necklace. - Transfer to the selected hotel. Lodging.
DAY 02:
Exc. Rano Raraku, North Coast and Anakena Beach
09:00 hrs. In this excursion a route with different archaeological zones which allows to know the evolution of the Rapa Nui culture from its beginnings. - Crossed the way that borders the coast, we visit the Ahu Akahanga, soon Volcano Rano Raraku, place where they were carved most of the Moais and where remains the greater number of these statues. - Visit to the Ahu Tongariki, with 15 recovered statues is the greater platform of the island. - It is followed by the peninsula of the Poike, to arrive at the North coast, halting in the Ahu Te Pito Kura, place of the greater statue outside the quarry and in addition.
Arrival to the Anakena Beach, old residence of the native royalty, with their grat color waters, white sand, palms and the Ahu Nau Nau, constitute one of the most attractive landscapes of the island. In the evening return to the town of Hanga Roa by the way that crosses the center of the island. Arrival to the hotel. This excursion includes Pic Nic, the place and moment to take it will be indicated it by the local operator.
DAY 03:
Rano Kau, Orongo and Ahu Vinapu
09:00 hrs. - The excursion begins with the ascent of the Rano Kao Volcano to arrive until the viewpoint on the crater, which contains in its interior numerous lagoons and great amount of native vegetation. - Soon the Ceremonial Village of Orongo, raised on a cliff, in this place was made the election of the annual leader through a dangerous competition, ancestral mixture of physical ability and beliefs. - All the clans of the island when arriving spring met in the numerous stone houses of the village to wait for the arrival of the bird, Manutara and choose the Tangata Manu, the bird-man. The excursion continues with the visit to the Vinapu area, old Ahu that contains a wall constructed with enormous stone blocks of perfect wear. Return to the hotel.

Akivi, Ana You Pau and Puna Pau.
15:00 hrs. Exit from the hotel to visit the center of the Island, arrival to a esplanade in which it emphasizes the Ahu Akivi, 7 moai represents the legend that gives origin to the Rapa Nui culture and the arrival of the Polynesian town to this Island. The statues watch to the sea, which is a peculiarity in this type of monument. Excursion follows visiting the caverns of Ana Te Pau. Extensive volcanic tunnels that cross the subsoil of the island and in some stages of their history served as hiding place or house. In their accesses leafy native gardens and introduced species grow. Visit the quarry of Puna Pau, small hill from which the red stone were extracted, which moai was crowned. - In this place a viewpoint exists on the town of Hanga Roa and the green surroundings. Return to the hotel.
DAY 04:
In the decided schedule, transfer from the hotel to the Mataveri airport, goodbye with necklace of shells.
